Beetle Juice (by Tim Burton – UK 1988 – with Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara and Jeffrey Jones).

Another jewel of the story of cinema. Who have not seen it yet, first of all “What???”, second please do so…it is an order! If not for the movie itself at least to appreciate the character of Lydia (Winona Ryder), the creepy little girl fascinated by death and strange and dark things, and to enjoy her definitely unusual (and amazing) outfits.

Again Tim Burton’s strong personality is visible and almost tangible. This movie at least makes me forget about all those appalling Halloween movies that everytime, after I have watched them, for one month make me avoid all the dark corners of my house, double check under my bed, switch on the lights in every single room and think about every possible way to escape from my flat (ON THE 10TH FLOOR) just in case a horrifying guy with mask and random blade wishes to come inside my place with the purpose to slicing me as sushi. What can I say…I am easily impressionable 🙂

Anyway, this Halloween have fun watching this movie: this is style!
